Hi My name is Maggie Jilbert-Watkins born in Penzance in 1972,my family history has alwasy intrigued me,I have alway's wondered who every one was what they did and how they lived. By completing the tree to as far as I have, I have found more family members than I ever dreamed off.
I only had one Grandfather Granda Dick, Richard Tonkin Mitchell, I remember him well, I can see Granda with his Tweed cap and suit that matched walking to mums with a stone of fish in his Palm weave bag.He was a fisherman in Newlyn.
Unfortunaly my other Grandparents passsed away. I recall Great Nanny Piper, My Grannys mother (great nanny Ethel Piper). She Taught me to nit in the back kitchen.
The best man in my life ever was my Da Gerry Jilberts, Gibits to his friends, the OLD GIT to us girls. You felt so hen pecked having 5 daughters and Mum, but you loved it really, I LOVE YOU DADDY and MISS YOU EVERY DAY. I SALUTE YOU XXXXXXX
